Laissant ainsi l\u2019espagnol Sergio Mu\u00f1oz s\u2019occuper de la partie d\u00e9veloppement marketing.\u00a0Une union Espagne-Portugal qui se fait apr\u00e8s les r\u00e9sultats en chute du groupe Barclays dans la p\u00e9ninsule ib\u00e9rique. Il ne s\u2019agit pas d\u2019une fusion juridique mais seulement d\u2019un changement d\u2019organisation dans l\u2019entreprise. Chaque pays sera toujours ind\u00e9pendant, en \u00e9laborant sa propre strat\u00e9gie mais en r\u00e9alisant des projets communs. Les deux nouveaux conseillers de l\u2019unit\u00e9 sont Jaime Echegoyen et Petter Mottek.  Barclays recevra une aide de 8.200 millions d\u2019euros demand\u00e9e \u00e0 la BCE. Parmi cette somme, 6. 200 (millions) sont destin\u00e9s au march\u00e9 espagnol et 2.200 sont r\u00e9partis au Portugal. Le groupe Barclays ne se fait aucune illusion sur sa situation en Espagne. L\u2019entreprise sait tr\u00e8s bien qu\u2019ils n\u2019entreront aucuns b\u00e9n\u00e9fices d\u2019ici deux ans. L\u2019ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re, le groupe a licenci\u00e9 750 personnes dans le pays.
